Steve Nousen is a nationally-known public speaker who interprets the work of Benjamin Franklin for people of all ages. Steve was an award-winning history teacher in his native Oregon before pursuing a career on Capitol Hill where he served as Chief of Staff for United States Senator Mark Hatfield. Following Senator Hatfield's retirement, Steve worked for twelve years as a federal affairs lobbyist. He now makes his home in the historic Lowcountry of South Carolina, where he enjoys the area's mild winters and the warmth of the community he has found. |
